Permanent Make-Up

Semi-permanent make-up is a safe procedure that has been used by plastic surgeons and dermatologists for years. This make-up technique using the Carole Franck French Method is particularly recommended for:

• Those whose eyebrows are thin or non-existent, or who want a permanent outline of the eyebrow.
• Those with poor eyesight, who have difficulty in applying make-up.
• Athletic women who do not want to use make-up.
• Those with scars in the eyebrow, or with altered position of the eyebrow.
• Those who are allergic to eyebrow pencils.
• Busy people who cannot afford to spend a lot of time applying make-up.

The wonderful thing about the use of the semi-permanent French Method is that the marks are lasting but not irreversible. There are several reasons for this:

• The pigments are injected intra-epiderman, not intra-dermal
• The color gradually fades because of natural desquamation
• The color can be altered by another application to suit the patient's desire or to follow changes in fashion.

The pigment is applied using a small electrical device with an attached surgical needle. The needles are sterilized by gamma rays and are only used once.
